Looking to buy a factory Catalytic Converter for my 1999 GS300. I'm not sure what years are interchangeable but would hope that most any of the 2Gen GS300 Cats would work. What's the reasoning for that? I have to pass emissions in my county and if its a working part I see no reason why it cant be sold. What's the issue with selling cats? That's just too bad because I'm sure there are plenty of GS owners here that have an extra cat laying around from a parted out car or that have been replaced by full exhaust systems. I've had a number of other cars that I've bought and sold every part under the sun with, including exhaust (cat's included). If someone has one feel free to PM me. I'm a Realtor, not a cop, and will be happy to buy one from someone.

the law is retarded sometimes... i guess to twart of thieves. it doesnt make sense to throw away a good cat. good luck.

maybe some will sell a used bolt but with a cat attached to it. i dont think it is illegal to sell used bolts.
