Guys...this is a great buy! I am telling you. For all those that are interested in headers I have NO IDEA why you wouldn't jump on this first!? You WILL see gains of anywhere from 15-20WHP and 15-20WTQ on ANY stock (or mildly modded) GS4XX. If you buy both these items it will take the guesswork out of the install (due to the custom harness). The ONLY thing I would recommend is to have a shop tune it...ANY shop can tune it for around $150.
The Apexi NEO or any other universal A/F controller is very basic to tuning shops; they can tune any car with it...even if they have never dealt with that particular Make/Model before. Trust me, I know. The local shop I went to only dealt with EVO's and STi's and they tuned it for me no problem. After the install the performance gains were definitely noticable especially in low and mid range power!
Headers would cost ~$600 (at least) and could cost as much as another $400-700 for the install depending on if you have a GS400 (more expensive install) or a GS430 (cheaper install). So for similar gains you would be spending at least $500 bucks more overall!
I would easily START with this route first...then down the road get the headers and you already have a tuning device in place that you can maximize the gains from the headers. This is the EXACT route that I went! BTW, I saw 16WHP and around 21WTQ GAINS strictly adding the Apexi Neo - at that time the only power mods I had was a K&N FIPK intake, Borla exhaust and Torque Master sparkl plugs).
The seller is also meticulous with the items he sells...I know many that have bought items from him in the past and are happy.

The plug will plug into the 2002+ GS300 some of the pin out things won/t be the same as GS430, like rpm.

Yea I meant to say the NEO would work if I wasnt clear. If the pin outs are different you can move them. I think there is only 4 wires off the top of my head for the NEO?
Still pending sale for payment. I will update if I dont see it by Monday.
