Fs: Gs300 Gs400 Trd Strut Bar Used

FOR SALE: GS400 TRD Strut Bar Used
FOR SALE
USED TRD Upper Strut Bar.
Bar is in like new condition EXCEPT for the mounting holes where there is a little wear. This wear does not have an impact on anything and is easily covered with the supplied NEW hardware. Comes with spacers that the original does not. These help keep the item in place and extends the load over more of an area.
No nicks or scratches on the bar itself.
New price is $220.00 , my price is $150.00 + shipping
Now let’s get to some Q&A :
This bar WILL NOT IMPROVE your handling. Well at least it depends on your driving. In theory, it connects the upper portion of the vehicle frame to form a solid box to prevent deflection. In theory. In real world practice, the GS is pretty stiff, and you will only benefit if you are really pushing your car or have considerably larger wheel/tires. Some may disagree.
Also, these bars are not the easiest to mount as the holes are a tad off and they require a little "thump" to get them to fit over the stock strut bolts. This CAN damage the strut bolts if the item is removed OFTEN. Once installed, it fits like a glove. This is standard on all of these TRD GS bars. Some say that jacking up the car will allow the bar to fit without any issues of rubbing the strut bolts. Others disagree. I'm not going to join the debate as I never jacked up my car just to install a STB.
Another negative is that it can rub on your engine cover and eventually wear on it leaving a permanent mark.
Removal for engine tinkering/tuning requires that the bolts holding the strut mounts are removed which could throw off your alignment.
So, what is it good for? Glad you asked.
Very heavy duty and will last for years plus it looks nice on the GS.
As I often tinker with the car and am working on fabricating a few things for the motor, I had to go with another bar that did that did not require the strut bolts to be removed, just the bar, as it should be.
So that is a complete honest assessment of the bar.
I live in So Ca and p/u is possible.

So, as I read this.....I'm a little confused....are there or are there not fitament issues with this bar? I have local members which have this bar and it looks very nice, but I can't consider it if it's going to cause something mess up.
I'm very interested otherwise.....let me know.

BTW, I'm still interested in your tranny cooler too, but you never replied to my last email to you last week. I'm not in that much of a hurry now, so let me know when you can have me one ready. I got a closer look at Bit's and it's very very nice.....if I get the same one, hardware, and pre-bent lines.....I like that. Let me know, maybe we can do a combo sale.....

Been extremely busy, but with this new wireless modem and my laptop, I can get CL anywhere.
Strut bar.
Most have claimed fitment issues when installing. Once installed, it is great.
Some claim that jacking up one end of the car will cause the strut towers to flex open enough for a drop in fitment.
Once installed, you probably will not have to worry about it for a while
Trans cooler
I will have a few ready shortly. Sold the last 2 last a few weeks ago. Yours would be just like Bits.
Send me a PM when your ready.
