FS: Tein Flex
If someone is interested, I am planning on selling my Tein Flex coilovers in a few weeks (putting the stock/eibach suspension back on). They are are in good shape after being on the car for about seven months. The reason I really want to get rid of them is that I really do not like the Tein Upper pillowball mounts. When I get around to taking the coilovers off the car, I will take some pictures of them. I am not sure whether they need to be rebuilt or not at this point, but if they do, Tein charges like 75.00 per coilover which I will not be responsible for with the price I have stated. I am asking for $700 shipped. Please e-mail at dimo3782@kettering.edu if interested.
Thanks-
Mike

Hey Bit...I might have to take that one back. I think it is probably the fact that I haven't replaced the passenger-side ball joint. When I replaced the driver-sdie one, the sound went away. I think it is just the ball joint, so I might go have it replaced next week and see what happens. Until then, they are still for sale

It is also not fair that Tein has two different instruction sheets for the same coilover. For instance, the English version does not have detail install instructions like the one supplied from the factory that is in Japanese I think. Oh well...The pillow ball mounts with the Flex are supposed to be better because there is more of a direct contact with the road. I guess the stock mounts have a nice cusion built in them which is eliminated for better performance.
