I have the Nakamichi stereo. If my changer will work in your car, I'm taking mine out in a couple of weeks.

Does anyone know if the CD Changer from the Nak system will work with the Nav system?

 

the nak system changer wont work. the nav system only supported the lexus premium sound system which is the small radio under the nav screen .. so you can only use the pioneer system changer part number 86280-30150 pioneer model cdx-8076zt. which has a 10 pin port . the nak changer has a 12 pin port. so wont even plug into the nav system wiring harness.

 

weak...oh well.

Is this changer a direct replacement for my 93 ls400 nakamichi changer?

 

I'm pretty sure it will work as long as it's Nak...although I think they made some changes in the system between 93 and 98. Maybe someone else may be able to answer this question for sure.
