You might have trouble getting someone to assume this lease...that's around $50 more than people were paying (on average) in 2006 to lease a comparable car, and I suspect the payments are on average even lower for 07 models.

You might want to try lease trader or similar sites...you never know.

A picture of the car might help you. Good luck.

No lease transfer fees or anything - just take over payments. Good stuff!!

I mean, who can pass up a sweet 350 with a rear sun shade!

To take over a lease, you must call Lexus Financial and have them send you a lease-transfer packet. Inside that packet you will receive a credit report form. You have to send out that form to the potential buyer and have them fill it out and send to Lexus. Only if they have the same or better credit will Lexus let you transfer paperwork. If they pass, then Lexus will send you the paperwork to do the responsibility transfer. This process takes roughly 30 days just to let you know.

did you check with the dealer you purchased from? its a hot car and they can sell it as a used certified and get most of the money back out of the car. i would try that and see what they can do. are you buying the NSX private party? not sure your relationship with the dealer but maybe you can do it as a trade and have them do the financing for you on the new car to give them some incentive to help you out! its worth a try...

Just curious if you got the lease transferred and the NSX as you planned.

Of course not, but what can ya do. Probably get a cheaper new car, who knows. That's if it sells at some point even.

Better off selling outright and then paying it off......

You'll take a bath on trade in or turning it in.....
