FS: Generic Brand Intake
Hello folks, I have for sale a generic-brand intake from EBAY! I bought this off ebay for about 150 bucks and its going for 125 on ebay right now. I decided to get a real Fujita intake because the generic-brand intake is anodized silver and I wanted a polished finish. However, the generic brand intake, as far as I can tell, is an exact replica of the Fujita intake I ended up buying. The only difference is that instead of a Fujita filter, it comes with a slightly longer K&N filter. Though there is no immediate difference in power via butt dyno besides faster throttle response, the generic brand intake makes imo a better sound than the Fujita. It is slightly more aggressive than the Fujita without the annoying *whistle* noise at lower RPMs that the Fujita makes. Also it seems like the longer filter gets the benefit of being in direct contact with the ram air intake outlet, which the shorter Fujita filter is not.
Anyway, if you are looking for a cheap yet effective and growly intake, look no further! I've only used this intake for no more than 100 miles (I only drive the car on weekends). I will be selling it for 100 OBO! So feel free to make an offer. Thanks for looking.
P.S. I must stress this is not a real Fujita intake but a replica (as if you can make replica of tubes... right?) I will package it in a Fujita box simply because it's the only intake-sized box I have right now, and it will come with all the parts for install that I used. Also I would prefer not to ship it out, so Los Angeles / San Diego buyers are priority :]
Onto the pictures! In the pictures with two intakes, the left is the real Fujita, the right is the one I am selling, just for comparison's sake. The filter at the right most is the one you will be getting with the intake, a true K&N filter.
And yes, there is a scratch on it. It was like that when I got it, unfortunately. I had originally planned to paint the whole thing GFM anyway :]
