If the item is brand new, I don't think he could switch to oem nav. The headunit would be used if he did so.

the oem has the option of the ml headunit that can play dvds, depending on who he got it from, so he could have switched to the oem nav!

I was responding to this guy's post. If he switched to oem nav, his headunit he is selling must be his OLD headunit without nav.
