My navi touch screen kicked the bucket 3k miles over warranty. Lexus customer satisfaction didn't offer any help/discounts/remedy. $2k+ for a new one from the dealer, any info/insight about a used/discounted '06-'09 navi would be much appreciated.

what happened? did the nav rom die? screen? you may find some on ebay and try car-part.com to locate one at junk yard close to you.

 

Is the car still under warranty? Or did you do the nav hack?


eBay has the navigation unit for about 1K-3K~ from listings i just found.

The nav touch screen just died. Does not respond to touch at all. Lexus dealer hooked it up to their computer and the read out said replace screen. No nav hacks or tampering of any kind, just crap luck I guess because I bought the car specifically for the nav feature. The car is barely over warranty about 2-3k miles.
