I did a quick search for you but came up with nothing, i believe they are fairly similar but dont quote me on that..
Everyone knows toms is top quality so it may be better quality than the blitz, sorry for not being able to answer that.

it was basically plug and play. their are DIY's on CL and other forums.
Unfortunatly i dont have the instructions they were in the box but the DIY is very informative and its pretty simple design.

I have an identical product called the D1 Spec Throttle Controller on my 2IS. Works wonder, plug and play and I paid only $100 with the specific wiring harness for the 2IS.
I guess you have to pay a premium for Tom's brand name.
Good luck with sale and this mod makes a night and day difference.
