Is it the lighting or am I seeing purple? Where in Jersey are you and how long did you have it on for? Also, at what rpm do you start to hear the intake kick in?

Northern Jersey and had it on for about a year and half. I took it off but never got around to selling it (putting my car back to stock now since I need money for med school). Intake kicks in around 4000 RPM.

About the color, I have to confirm this with JoeZ. I will send him a PM. I bought it as "black" but the appearance is purple-ish under certain lighting conditions. It's always been like this.
