Nobodies tried fitting the 09 vent's yet in an 06-08 (that I know of) so dunno if swapping the vents will fix the gap. You could be the guinea pig?

That's a pic from the non fly audio nav thread. My FA unit is the 1st gen from the first group buy with automax. The 2nd gen FA unit says card instead of av in where you insert the micro sd
