Default do you think i can beat him??

Hey guys.. i got some buddies with some pretty quick cars and i've shown them all whose boss except one..

theres a 07' stock 350z auto.. i beat him BADDD from any speed

theres a 07" Mustang GT cali edition.5 speed. and he can drive very good..with just an exhaust.. i ve always beat him by a car or two by 80mph.. today i raced him with my traction disable with the pedal dance and just destroyed him.. off the line everytime.. and just kept pulling hard all the way till 100 when i was probably a bus in front of him

tomorrow im racing my buddy who has a 2001 M5... he also is a very good driver.. his car is stock.. but he keps telling me hes gonna spank me...

what do u guys think?? ..

oh also he just got new tires today.. not sure if that will change anything..

the 01 M5's got like what, 390 hp? I think this is gonna be some pretty tough competition. Honestly, I don't think you are going to beat him, but at least you are brave because I'm too scared to try.

New tires may actually slow him down a little bit due to a larger diameter tire increasing the length of the gears (most likely such a small difference that it won't matter). Should be a decent race though, let us know how it turns out.

ok i will.. ive never tried dropping tire pressure in the rears so i might do that and pull the spare.. but im not sure if it could mess up my launch

Straight line, track or street? Straight line probably the m5. track and street will depend on the driver.

M5 has near 400hp with a 6 speed manual (no auto avail). torque to match. Fantastic V-8.

It depends on the driver but if he can drive, the M5 wins hands down. However, you won't be whooped, the car runs low to mid 13s.

The E39 M5 is a quick car and is easily capable of low 13's. Obviously, one slight mistake in shifting or launching - the IS350 will walk it; but since he is a good driver, I'm afraid the M5 would win by maybe a car length or two. Let us know anyway
