the eibachs are pretty much the exact same as the f-sport springs, i'd just order the F-sports from sewell and get the dealer to install them.. might cost a bit more but alteast u keep your suspension warrenty

I agree with SebsIS350, an eibach drop is not that drastic, go fsport and keep it OEM.

FTW go Coils, more expensive but worth the ability to adjust ride height.

i'd go w/ the pro-kits. look in the 2is classified section; someone is usually putting up a set for sale.

coilovers are great, that they allow you to adjust the ride height and the shock settings (if it can be changed). for track use, that's great. but for daily drivers most coilover-equipped 2is owners will tell you that they don't really play around with the settings that much once they set the ride height/damper setting at the desired height/setting.

am i saying that coilovers are a monumental waste of money? no. they're worth every penny for the functionality. however, you'll only use that functionality for a few times for the time that you own it. something to keep in mind.

personally, i would go w/ the f-sport struts/shocks along w/ aftermarket springs.

I prefer you getting coilovers. Don't cheap out on the suspension.

Tein CS + Edfc ftw!

f sport is a very moderate drop compared to the prokit. For the price prokit is probably the best bang for the buck. Especially if you can find them used/new condition in the classified.

F-Sport 1" drop all around vs Eibach IS350 = 1'' F and .8'' R
Eibach IS250 = 1.4'' F and 1'' R

But then again this topic has been highly debated. lol

IMO "cheaping out" on the suspension would be hacking a coil (or however many coils it takes) to lower the 2is a la the honda rice boys... getting quality aftermarket springs isn't.

and to those equipped w/ tein CS/SS (or any other coilovers) set-ups, do you actually make ride height and/or damper setting adjustments on a fairly regular basis, say, once a month? or even more frequent?

what i'm getting at is this... if you don't make adjustments on a fairly regular basis - or even at all, then doesn't it defeat the purpose of getting coilovers? after all, the purpose of going with coilovers is so you can have a range of adjustability that lowering springs don't have. but if you don't change ride height or damper settings, then doesn't that defeat the purpose of having coilovers (other than bragging rights)?

again, i'm not an anti-advocate of coilovers. however, i don't believe that someone should get coilovers for the sake of having them and not taking advantage of their functionality.

in addition to the eibach pro-kits, i also recommend the tein s-techs. just my $0.02. /OT

keep an eye out in the 2is classified section. someone always has a set for sale.

Very well said. Also, for the AWD guys, coilovers arent even a choice! I have the Eibach 250 springs and I love them. The drop is perfectly level and DEFINITELY much lower than the F-sport springs (and cheaper).

definitely some excellent points. The prokit is fine for the alot of people for the simple fact they won't be making "adjustments" on a regular basis or just don't care for having that option.
