Default Anybody with a 4" dual exhaust setup???

Im almost done with my 2JZGTE swap and am trying to decide how I want my exhaust done. Im prolly gonna do a 4" setup and Im not really a fan of single exit exhausts on the SC. If anybody has a nice looking dual 4" setup please post some pics.
Ive been trying to find some nice looking 4" in/out mufflers to get for the car and Im not having much luck.

you do realise power isn't measure by the size of your exhaust right?

might have problem with clearance if your car will be too low, I'm running 3 in. duals but custom made by muffler shop.

The main problem with a 4" setup is that it will see very little benefit to cost ratio. The extra flow you're gonna get (which isn't gonna be much) isn't gonna warrant the price of a 4" setup, assuming your gonna pay a shop to do the work. Clearence is also a biggie, as reitterated by my shop when I asked how big I could go (I'm lowered on coilovers). There is a reason most mufflers don't come in 4".

unless you are putting down about 1000hp a 4" exhaust is a waste. with such a big exhaust you have very little back pressure and that can actually hurt turbo spool time as well.

on a stock motor or even BPU you dont need anything bigger then a 3".

go google some equations of fluid flow through a 3" pipe. they have calculators on line. then see how much flow your motor can make. a 3" pipe will outflow a stock 2jzgte(even theoretically 100% efficient one) all day long.

all u need is 3.5" at the most u will lagg very hard on a 4" cause u hav to make enough back pressure for both exhuast i wouldnt do that if i was you the car will be sluggish till boost JUST OUD AND SLUGGISH

HOLD ON!!!!...before this thread makes me a bit dumber with all the "suggestions"

none of you know what this guy did to his car. he said he did a 2jzgte swap. he didnt mention any upgrades at all. why would you people suggest a 4" downpipe and midpipe on a presumably stock motor.

do the math on the flow before making absurd suggestions...and dont give me the "ive been doing this for x-number of years, have x-amount of hp, and boosted x-number of cars"

bigger exhaust is not always better. on the dyno when you look at the top end it might be. with a bigger exhaust you may actually lose some mid-range torque.
