Smile Hi to "2IS".
I wasn't active here until lately when my wife and I plan getting a new IS. Most Japanese cars are refered by their chassis codes. But, seems like this forum is not? I guess ppl here uses "2IS" as the second gen. IS model. What are the chassis codes for the IS250 & IS350 anyway? Did some searches on Google and everyone talks about their engine code instead...

2IS Engine codes:
IS 250 RWD - 2.5 L 4GR-FSE V6 204 hp
IS 250 AWD - 2.5 L 4GR-FSE V6 with all wheel drive, 204 hp (153 kW)
IS 350 - 3.5 L 2GR-FSE V6, 306 hp (228 kW), rear wheel drive

is350 chassis code = GSE21

BUT here on cl we just call them '2IS' and 250/350.
