Default Changed My Fog Lights

To yellow bulbs by.....

Luminics JDM Yellow (9006)

I like this look over the stock off white color, and have always like how the yellow w/ HID's looked on the GS & IS.

Yeah, looks kind of dark. Do they serve a purpose (for fog) or are they purely for looks? I would think that they might be too dark if needed to put to use.

Far as the brightness, they are pretty bright! My camera setting may have something to do with it.

This thread http://www.clubcivic.com/board/showp...65&postcount=1 has pics of the yellow bulbs in action (much better than mine) and show they birghtness better. I can see that they are on while driving vs the stock ones.

I may go this route too with the yellow fog. I want it purely for function not for looks. Was it hard to swap out (can you reach from below or did you have to remove the wheel well plastic?).

Also, how much was the bulb? an eBay item?

They were easy to change out, the only thing that slows you down is removing the corner panels under the car. Once you do that just reach up, twist the buld connector to unlock and remove the bulb. Make sure you don't touch the bulbs with your fingers when swaping them out. Yes you can get them off of ebay, I bought mine from this guy.

It is very easy to do, the LS comes with a tool box ion the left side inside the the trunk.

-There are two little wrenches, use the bigger one and the bigger end to take the bolt screws off the under body panels on each corner of the car.

-Then reach up and twist the buld connector to unlock and remove the bulb.

-Depress the tab to release the bulb from the connector (Make sure you don't touch the bulbs with your fingers when swaping them out) then put the new bulb in tightly and reach up twist to lock into place.

-Repeat for the other side of the car, it's crazy easy!!!

I didn't even open my buttom cover when installing my HIDs in the fogs, I just open the wheel wall, 2 screws.

Well, I got skinny arms.
