Default Any ISF owners come across a CTS-V or Jag XFR on the street?

I just finished reading an article in R/T with those two super sedans and both cars pack 500+ hp Supercharged V8 motors ~ wow!

I did not know that Jag had such a fast car out on the market and the CTS-V is one crazy monster with that Blown Corvette motor

Always considered the ISF competitors to be mainly the C63 AMG, m3 and RS4 but it seems I forgot these two cars. Just seeing if any ISF owners have raced one of these rides on the street (Jad or Caddy)?

The 1/4 mile times seem comparable in the mid 12's but it seems on paper the ISF only has 416 hp compared to 510, 556 respectively.....

Came across the Caddy last week. Neither of us had anything to prove so it was pretty uneventful. Great looking car though!

no i havent raced a CTS-V or XFR but there are plenty of LS motor owners in cali that are getting the best of me and my ISF.... and not just by a nose or a half lengths... these guys are blowing the doors off my car and I dont blame myself...Im a damn good driver.... I blame the think tank for not thinking fast enough to get us better mods...

I know we are in a recession and the LS motor has been around for the last decade but thats no excuse when the UR motor has been out for the last 4 years.... there should be more mods then just the intake and exhaust

There are a few videos on the web, that make me not want to come across either of these cars. I find it hard to compare cars with a 100+hp difference. It makes no sense.

I guess the only question is which car is lighter? That's our only chance then? haha

I think the IS-F is around 3700 lbs? I wonder what the Caddy and Jag are? but regardless I still would buy the IS-F in a heartbeat!

I would venture to say with equal drivers, we're going to get our feelings hurt.

I test drove the CTS-V before purchasing the IS-F and was on the fence. I felt the Lexus better suited my needs as an overall car. The gas mileage was a factor as well.

The ISF weights in at 3780 lbs stock. As for the CTS-V its about 4200 lbs with the 6 speed tranny, and 4300 lbs with the auto.

Who told you that lie?

I'd love to see what the car weighs without nav/ML and sunroof. I bet it's 100 lbs lighter.

Yes, with spare, jack, manual, etc., all in place. Not sure what the 3780 really is, but it is what Lexus quotes in the Appendix of the New Car Features. Strangely enough my Supra (hard top 6 speed) shows 3415 in the Supra New Car Features, and mine with 3 gallons of gas weighed exactly 3415 on a certified scale. Weird.

I dunno how you guys weigh the car - certainly not on a bathroom scale!

Is there special places you can go? This is a luxo car so I'm certainly not going to strip it for weight savings but it is fun to know if it's heavier than it's competitors since we all know power is affected by hp/weight ratio.
