My 1GS3 Progress So Far
***This is a continually updated thread (don't want to clutter the forum with modification posts)
Hey everybody. I never really introduced myself or posted pictures of my car on this forum even though I've been around for nearly a year. So I figured, why not start now, right? Make a little before and after report card progress report for myself and have you guys let me know what you think.
My name is Rob, bought my 95 GS3 Touring in August 2007. Started out bone stock, but really clean. 102,000 miles and originally a Florida car, gray leather interior, two tone black and gray outside. I bought it off ebay of all places, so I got it nearly sight unseen except for these pictures in the beginning.
So nearly a year later I feel like I've gotten alot accomplished even though it doesn't even touch the leaps and bounds some people on this forum have achieved. I've gone through a lot of ambivalence about what to do to it regarding mods and future goals, but I think its come out pretty well so far.
Mods include:
Cleared headlights
Marble Wood Dash Kit
VALOR 7" Indash Headunit
12" JL IB4, Free air Sub
JL 500/5 Amp
Blue LEDs in all courtesy lights, reading lights, dome light, shifter plate, HVAC.
Tanabe DF210's Springs and KYB GR2 Shocks
HKS Prestige Exhaust
35% Tinted windows all around
Viper 5900 system
And I washed and waxed it officially for the first time ever so I could show you a car that wasn't dirty as hell

I like the valor headunit, haven't had any problems thus far and I've had it in since January. Only thing that sucks is the one I got isn't NAV ready. The newer ones are though.
Do you have a pic of your car on those wheels? I'd love to see what it will look like.
