My 98 doesn't use the same adaptors/cables that are used for 01's and up navi/non-navi. I can't seem to find anything that I can connect to the back of my unit for a simple plug & play setup.

Personally I'm not really into car audio and I only listen to my ipod in the car through the cassette adapter using the Flexible Dock from Ten Technologies. It charges the ipod and I control the volume through the stock radio. Unfortunately I think the company is out of business but you can find one somewhere online.
