Rear Bar
#3
U wanna try them out? search for ultra racing aristo. I'm interested in that bar... but my weakness is in the front. Maybe something to do with the end links and brace. I was looking for the fender bar for these too.
double check: Our muffler might be in the way... or atleast the pipe.

Yes... trd blue. search on ebay for the item. It looks like it'll clear... I might get this despite the rear being very stable.

The TOMs 6 link ties those two outer mounting points with the pivot point on each lower control arm.
Structurally the TOM's appears to be a better design providing a better stiffening of the rear end than the Ultra racing set up shown.
The front end feels loosey goosey during turn in, but when applying power coming out of a turn, the rear bracing comes in to play. Anyone with an LSD and has practiced drifting out of a turn will appreciate the additional rear bracing.

DOh!!! I bought one already. I Guess I can't modify it to work with the Tom's knock off! I might just get the toms knock off to work with my figs parts.
Edit... actually, the pivot point of the Lower arm is flimsy (I broke it off on a turn [had to get the rear unibody replaced)... hmmm

The TOMs front brace has one more stiffening point added on each side than the TRD.
I don't have a pic readily available of the location, but it's been discussed on threads years ago that the TOMs was arguably better than the TRD.
Again TOMs FTW.
and GO GIANTS ! ! !

I'm looking at the UR-RL4-930 4 point rear brace and I'm not sure if i should bite the bullet and go with the more expensive tom's rear brace or be cheap and go with this UR brace. I have the top speed front brace and i always get a clunking noise everytime I stop and accelerate. So now I'm afraid of trying aftermarket braces from an non Tom's manufacturer. It's so sad that no other company makes any aftermarket braces for the 2nd gen gs.
