I just bought a set of non-staggered LFA style wheels (offset 38 / 19x8.5 all arround) and now i am wondering witch tire sizes i have to buy for my IS250.
I am thinking about 235/35/19 for the front and 265/30/19 for the rear.
Does anyone know if this setup will rub?

I wouldn't run stagger tire on a none stagger wheels. It not gonna look rite with wide tire for a small width in the rear. Just run 225 35 or 235 35 all around.

In my opinion.. the original setup, 18's with 225/40/18 and 255/40(?)/18, also dont look right.
But my question was... Will it rub!,

or do i have to choose 255/30(35)/19 to be safe.

 

The factory 17's are 17x8 all around with +45 offsets, with the front tires being 225/45/17 and rears being 245/45/17. It should be ok, unless you are not into the look.

If it will rub...that I don't know.

 

why run staggered tires on a non staggered set up.

just run the same size all around, so you can rotate your wheels for a better even wear.

 

Cause when people use 265 30 is cause there running wider size rims in the rear. If your not running stagger then there no need for the 265 30. Cause you dont see any with 19x8.5 on the front with 265 30 so why run it this setup for the rear? That just me.

 

Okay.. but my wheels are 4x8.5j ,so 235/35 -255/35 (or 30) makes more sense?

 

its not gonna rub at all regardless if yo0u pick the 235 width or 265 width for the rear. Those offsets and rim width are so conservative you'll have NO problems at all.

 

I suggest 245/35-19 in the back and 235/35-19 in the front.
If you want the option of rotating your tires, then 235/35-19 all around.

I have these exact wheels and run 225/35 and 265/30. The 225 is a bit of a stretch. For me I didn't want to run the tiny 225 in the rear. 225 for the front is about max since the 235 you would have a good deal of rubbing. I'm rolling my fenders this Wednesday.
