Several questions about the IS350 maintenance
So, I just drove my car (2006 IS350) from L.A to Seattle and have some scratches and the car is at 105k now. My brother used some kind of thin sand paper to remove the scratches and that also removed the clear coat.
1) is it possible to recover the clear coat?
2) Spark plugs are due at 120k, but I am planning to replace them now. What brand/type of spark plugs?
3) When should I replace the water pump and drive belts?
Any good online store that I can buy the parts?

BTW, I like the IS350 better than my previous 2003 BMW 330 :-)

Depends on how much was removed. Cutting the clear coat ultimately removes to much and may need to repainted.
Use the factory plugs. I just did mine. Look under the vendor section for Sewell Lexus. Register with them and be sure to tell them you're a member of Club Lexus to get a additional discount. I buy my oil filter there as well. Make sure the interior cabin filter was changed as well. Good luck with your car and Welcome to CL. Not sure on belts.

I registered with Lexus of Dallas. Hopefully they'll get me a quote soon.
The clear coat was removed very little. You can tell only if you stare at it for a few seconds. I found this link, but I am not sure if this will work. If not, I'll have to live with it. Don't really want to spend the $ on repaint.

What a 2IS actually needs done for scheduled maintenance-
Every 5k miles- Oil change (it doesn't need it anywhere near this often, especially with synthetic, but going by the book here).
Every 15k- Check air/engine filters (check, not necessarily change- in some conditions a change might be needed, in others you'll be good for a while longer).
Every 30k- Change brake fluid; Change air/engine filters if you haven't had to do so yet.
Every 60k- Change spark plugs.
Every 100k- Change coolant.
That's it
Anything else is the dealer selling you crap you don't need.
As noted there's no PS fluid to change... there's also nothing to do on the transmission... and no required service on the differential. No fuel filter maintenance either. No timing belt on the car (it's a chain, 3 actually, that should never need service).
Things like brakes, wipers, accessory belts (and water pump) are replaced as needed rather than on any schedule.
