Hi guys. Just joined as I've had my rx300 3 days now. Already got the engine light come on and the VSC? Light on. Did the battery disconnect and it went for a day but now back. I'll do some more diving on that one. Not so important but bugging me more is my steering wheel is about 10° anti clockwise while driving straight. Easier to get it re tracked or to have the steering wheel off and move on the splines? Cheers guys
You need to get the codes read by someone with an OBDII Scanner. Any auto parts store will read them for free. Once you have them, post them here.
The steering not being straight while driving is related to the suspension, it indicates that you need a wheel alignment. However, I highly suggest you get a suspension inspection first to replace any worn components and then get an alignment. Or else, you will not be doing yourself any favors! Do not just move the intermediate shaft to have it centered.

Ok thank you for the input. Is mine a gen 1 then? It looks different to what I thought a gen one was?
You're welcome. It appears you are in England, so it's possible you have a 2nd generation body with a 1MZ-FE.
Yes I'm in the UK and the car is a late 2003. It has the more sloped back end. New to these so not sure but didn't like the look of the square back end of what I thought was gen 1. Cheers
