Navigation/ Infotainment screen scratching on 2023 RX 350 -
Hello,
I am a longtime Lexus owner and just picked up a new 2023 RX350 Luxury in Caviar which I am very happy with. I have the car washed at two local automatic washes and have noticed that when the attendants do the interior wipe downs that there are some micro scratches developing in the screen. It must be because the of the cloths that they use. I will be more mindful and ask them not to wipe the nav screen (and perhaps even cover it with a cloth) before turning over the vehicle to them but was wondering if there are any recommendations for buffing out the scratches and perhaps even using some type of screen protector such as on mobile phones?
Thank you in advance,
G

To piggy back on this, we leave a microfiber cloth in the driver's little dash cubby just to wipe the screen and dust the shiny black plastic. There are some poor fitting screen protectors on Amazon. A local PPF installer can probably do a screen protector better for you.

Thank you. I use a microfiber myself but when the car wash attendants wipe the inside of the car I believe that their towels may not be as particle free as the one I use and thus have developed some tiny scratches from them. For now when I turn the car over to them I am just tossing a towel on top of the Nav screen with a "Do Not Touch" sign printed on. I will likely contact a local PFF installer as suggested by Urlik. Thank you.

I picked up my rx350h last month and noticed some fine scratches on the screen as well. As it turned out there is a totally imperceptible screen film that comes from the factory. Might be worth checking to see if you still have yours on as those films scratch easily. There is no 'peel here' on the film, you sort of just have to know.
