What are you guys using for car covers? There are some on ebay but I want to find out what everyone else reccomends. During the winter I may have my baby covered down if we get any snow![Big Grin](https://www.clublexus.com/forums/images/smilies/biggrin.gif)

Here's a link that has good info on the top types of materials out there, which are used by most quality brand name companies that offer covers.

It should help you narrow down exactly which kind is best for your needs and circumstances. Cheers!

I bought a car cover on Ebay (one of those that sell for about $40) and I regret it. It basically eroded after four months. I did some research on this forum (should have done it in the first place, but I placed my trust on the positive feedback for the seller on Ebay) and found that many recommend a Noah cover from Cover Craft.

I brought a california car cover. It's expensive, but worth it. I brought the superweave. It's like i have an umbrella over my car and it fits like a glove. During hard rain, rain just flowed off like nothing. The next day i looked under and it still was clean like the day i washed it. Only thing dirty was the bottom half of my rims, so you might want to buy wheel covers too. Salesman said it is 99.9 percent waterproof, which i need since i park my car outside. I was going to order the cheaper noah, but the salesman said it was only about 75 percent waterproof. Oh yeah , it was less than 300, but a well spent 300.

I did an extensive search on the internet for the best deal on the Noah cover. I was amazed that the same cover would sell for $250 on one site and $150 on another. Hence, shop around. I found the best pricing at www.autoanything.com and www.autosupermart.com. You may want to compare them to the other quotes that you receive.
I'm going to hold off on my opinion of the Noah until it is weather tested. I advise purchasing a quality cover from a reputable company which will gaurantee it's product for multiple years. Again, I tried to save money by purchasing a cover on Ebay for $40. A cheap cover will only last a few months. It's more cost effective to buy a quality cover which will last years. I'm hoping my $150 Noah cover will do the job.
Good luck.

I'd be careful with any cover especially in the freezing weather; condensate could form underneath - then feeze - I'd have ice on a moveable cover on top of my baby, or just the ice/snow on top of the cover slidiing over the paint . . .. not for me but I am lucky to have a garage. If you have tree dirt or other stuff a cover's probably the way to go.
Decided nothing touches my paint if I can help it, stones, sticks, wife's skirt walking by, etc.

Well guys thanks for the info. I am still doing my research but all of your points are valid. My car will not be outdoors so Ice will not be an issue. I am just trying to keep my baby warm for the days that we may get snow etc. or if I have to travel for any period of time.
Again thanks for all the input so far.....
