2024, white es 350: exterior maintenance
What do you recommend to maintain the shine and protect finish? I did not get the $800 Lexus dealership exterior ceramic and interior protection.
same question for interior.
What are the benefits and draw back to the ceramic coating?

I use the Adam's graphene ceramic advanced spray. Takes less than 30 minutes to do a vehicle. Wipe on wait two minutes and wipe off. Paint needs to be on good shape because it is not a cleaner or polish. No abrasives. Go out on YouTube and watch two or three reviews. Everyone raves about it. Up to two year protection. Only down side is have good lighting because you need to make sure you don't miss a spot when removing.

Sky is the limit. Multitudes of good products out there. There's no magic pill "best" protectant. Depends on your needs & habits. I'd rather have someone use "cheap" off the shelf waxes/sealants/sprays and do it often than ceramic coating your car and taking it to a car wash once a month.
The most important thing is you maintain your car's finish often. Once a week preferred.
If you have a hose and want easy? Get a bottle of Gyeon Wet Coat. Spray on and rinse off. Your car will be protected by one of the best products in the business. It will cross-link and "bite" into your paint using some of the best technology known to man. Great for your new car since the finish is clean and new.

At least you didn't buy the dealer protection plan, it's a total scam for $800.
