Question Cleaning The Stitches

Any suggestions on effective restoration of the white stitches ?
(Below picture is from brochure)
I'm thinking of using a soft (tooth) brush and solution of laundry detergent with whitening property.

stitches on the trim pieces.

I tried with Tide + water, using electric toothbrush - no effect
will try whitening tooth paste next

Have you tried steam? Brushing aggressively on the thread will cause it to fuzz. I picked up a harbor freight steam cleaner for under 100 bucks on sale. I used it to freshen up the letters on my ISF floor mats, turned out great no chemicals dried quickly. Just be careful around the dash. Steam works great to clean out around cracks and crevices and you don’t have to worry about scratching with brushes.
