I swirled with the 2000grit sandpaper-with water..first mistake
using any sandpaper on a decent light..second mistake..
I think i'm going to by a dremel tool and use a buffer with Novus #2 next weekend.
Thanks for the link. You guys really helped me out..

What were your results? My lights on my 98 GS400 are pitted and I have used the # 3 with some success. I am considering wet sanding with 2500 to get it smooth, then buffing with # 3 then # 2. What do you think?

I did the same thing with mine to get the look back using a headlight kit. I ended up popping my passenger side headlight out though in order to see if I can't get rid of the fogging issues. I'm trying to see if there's a way for me to seal it up using silicone gel so I won't have to bake my headlights. It looks as if I may have to bake them anyway though cuz right now I'm having a hell of a time locating where the leak is. =/

Funny thing, i've been reading about all these people doing this recently so i decided to follow the trend AGAIN. I sanded them with 2K, applied the buffer pad to our drill, put some PlastX on it, and went over the headlights a couple times, needless to say it came out
