I’m curious if anybody has done Gtechniq Crystal Serum Ultra ceramic coating on their Lexus. I am visiting a detailer in the coming weeks with options for the Gtechniq CSU or Feynlab coatings. CSU claims a 9 year durability. My concern is what happens if I develop swirls, marring, etc. from the environment, washing/drying techniques and need a paint correction in that 9 year timeframe? CSU seems to be very difficult to get off.

My Lexus is a daily driver but the mileage per day is extremely low and is garage kept. I do try to avoid wet weather but sometimes will drive it in inclement weather.

Let me know you’re thoughts about this coating.

On recommendation from ppf installer I just used their ceramic spray sealant. $40 container will do eight vehicles. Apply wipe off immediately. Last 4-6 months and incredible shine.

As I experience CSU is great protection, but removal is a pain. For a daily driver, consider a pro ceramic coat with easier removal like Feynlab. You can always top it with a spray sealant for an extra gloss.
