i've used langka and it definitely works like it's supposed to. however, i used it on a really curved area of the roof, where the A-pillar meets with the roof and it was very difficult to smooth out without taking off too much touch-up paint.
in retrospect, it might have been easier to use the paint pen, so that i don't have to smooth out a blob in the first place. however, i'm not aware of unforeseen shortcomings with using the paint pen.

I use both and love 'em both. Depends on the chip I'm fixing. Small chips are easier IMO with the paint pen. The larger chips are easier and faster to do with touch up paint and Langka. Results are about the same.

I've thrown away my bottle of touch-up paint, and have exclusively used the pen-type touch-up paint. The pen is very easy to control, and through some very thin layer applications, I can build it up and never have the "blobbing" problem that regular touch-up bottles have. Of course, I've only used the pen on your "normal" chips--any thing smaller than 3/16".
I haven't used Langka, so I can't comment on it.

On a non metallic Langka will do a great job, if your touch up is a good match. I have found that the touch up sold by paint scratch, www.paintscratch.com, is the best touch up out there as far as a match is concerned. It is much better than the touch ups from Lexus or Mercedes from my experience.

I bought Lanka right after I bought my car, 2001 GS3 that I purchased 3 years ago. There were quite a bit of nicks and dings in her hood. I used the Lanka and after a few practice runs, was able to get the paint level and after polish and wax, you could not even tell where the work was done. I plan to strip her down and do it again pretty soon. I would love to get the whole front clip repainted and covered with the clear bra, but that requires that green stuff, um, you know what I am talking about, um, can't seem to find the word......
