Default Spring Break cleanathon

Next week is spring break and im ready to give my car a good detailing. i need help and info on what to do. i already have a few products at the house.
McGuires cleaning soap.
McGuires scratch x
McGuires liquid gold wax
Some Generic clay bar.
Zymmol Polish
and a orbital buffer.
and a bunch of mcguires interior cleaning stuff. but i know how to use all that.
so it now comes down to what order should i use all this stuff in? what kind of cover should i get for the orbital buffer? and what kinds of towels should i use for each product?
oh yah does anyone know of a plastic scratch removers that i can buy at a store?

In process order;

1) Wash car as usual with your Meguiar's car wash shampoo ( what you refer to as "McGuires cleaning soap.")
2).Rinse car then use the clay bar with fresh shampoo lathered on the car. One panel at a time, keep lubricated with shampoo while claying. Rinse thoroughly when done
3). Dry car. Use your Scratch X on visible scuffs and scratches.
4) Use the Zymol polish to increase shine and remove swilrls ( IF it's a true polish that is, if it's a wax type product you'll have to decide between using that or the Meguiar's Gold Class liquid wax, as they would be more or less the same ).

If the Zymol is a cleaning polish in liquid form, you can apply that with your orbital with a "polishing" pad. Same for the Gold Class wax. You should use either microfiber towels or 100% American made (Canon or FieldCrest) cotton terry towels for removing each product.

Do you mean a product that removes scratches from hard plastics?

Look for Plexus; http://www.goodspeedmotoring.com/subcat.php?man_id=29

Zaino Z14 : http://www.zainostore.com/Merchant2/...ory_Code=Zaino

or Meguiar's : http://www.meguiars.com/product_show....cfm?SrcLine=P

If the scratches are heavy though, those won't remove them fully...you'll have to use a rubbing compound, something along the lines of '3M Fine -Cut Rubbing Compound', followed by a finer polish such as a swirl remover, for ultimate clarity.

The former are very fine abrasives, the latter coarser. It all depends on the severity. Good luck.
