anyone know what the color code for an autosharp pen to use with the lower panels of a black onxy RX300.

Paintscratch.com says the color code for the lower grey cladding on the RX300 is UCA31. If you haven't planned on it, your best bet to get the Autosharp pen for that particular color codes is to call their toll-free number and order from the phone. Chances are that the code is not listed on the Autosharp web site.

hi, i also have a question about my rx. my car is two toned as well, and the upper half is mineral opalascent green, while the bottom half is some dark greyish color. i have no idea what the paint code is for the bottom half. any hlep will be greatly appreciated. thank you for your time.

Ray, the color code for the lower cladding portion of your RX can be found by following the link I provided in my first post. The color code I found is UCAB7 based on the green factory color of your RX.

Actually in the pic provided, 2 kinds of green factory color exist on the 2000 RX model, and both of them contain the same cladding color code, UCAB7.

i was wondering, is the paint code UCAB7 universal? what i mean by this is because i am getting aftermarket running boards for my rx300 and i need to provide a paint code for them. if i told the vendor UCAB7, it should come out to be the same color then..? i'm kinda confused, because in the picture you provided, the paint says "clear" on it. i appreciate you taking time to answer my questions.

As long as you tell the paint vendor that the color code is for a Lexus/Toyota, they should be able to understand what you mean as they may have on hand color code lists for different makes and models. The "clearcoat" mentioned in the listing simply means that this particular paint color is originally covered with clearcoat when coming from the factory. Make sure that the paint vendor adds clearcoat to the paint color of your running boards (UCAB7), which of course will be a little extra money but most Lexus paints these days are clearcoated for better UV protection.
