Default Cleaning chrome wheels

What is the best way to clean chrome wheels? Sometimes, I have water markers that are hard to get rid of. Any advice would help. Thanks in advance.

Not to be overly simplistic but...chrome cleaner. That's what it's made for. DuPont makes a good one and it's cheap. You can use an all metal polish if you wish also, that should work as well.

You might want to apply a polymer sealant to the wheels to help prevent the spotting in the future. Cheers.

Mothers chrome polish works really well on chrome wheels. It's really easy to wipe down the wheels after the polish dries up.

The only "chrome protectant" available is a wax or sealant. I suggest you use a sealant since wax melts at a much lower temp and wheels do indeed get hot from braking.

Something like Zaino or Meguiars NXT, I believe. But I think NXT has an abrasive in it, so I don't know if that would harm the finish. . .
