Default Wax/polish/glaze?

My car came with a 2 step process called "Auto Butler". The dealer charges a lot for this product which is supposed to be reapplied every 6 months. What waxes and or glaze do you other owners recommend? Thanks, CaptBud

Bud, sorry to say, youve been takin! He didnt use anything anyone couldnt have bought online, thru a reputable detailer/retailer. Chances are he used a polymer product, promised you it would last 4-5 yrs, as long as you went back to the detailer ever 6 mos! Your best bet is to spend about $150.00 on quality car care products. Start with a good wash product, which is safe for all auto finishes, and wont strip wax. Then maybe twice a yr, give your ride a clay treatment, this will remove any imbedded contaminants from within the clearcoat. Also use a sheepskin (natural) washmitt. Follow with a name brand cleaner, polish, wax or sealant. Apply products with sponge, or sponge/terry applicators, and always remove with a microfiber towel. OTC product may include Mothers, or Meguiars 1-2-3 punch products. NXT line is very good, but they dont make a polish for that particular line, so dont forget the polish! Online Polymer products, favorites of mine would include Klasse AIO and SG, Blackfire, Fourstar, Poorboys. Very, very little product is needed for completing your auto, 2 oz will typically cover an entire vehicle.
