Default Leather Scent???

Anyone know of a product that has a true leather aroma? I've thought about throwing a bag of scrap leather under the seats to get that nice scent back. I searched the forums and didn't find any specific product info?

The Zaino leather products smell very leathery (Z-10 I think?).

I also have an air freshener that I've used in my cars that smells leathery from Yankee Candle.

It's very potent, so I just cut a corner off the top of the freshener wrapper and then put it in the bottom of the seat pocket behind the driver or passenger seat.

Cool

I use the following product. The scent is similar to the Zaino leather products. After awhile between Zaino application and the smell disappearing I would spray some on the floor mat. Make the interior smell like new again.

Thanks for the replies, I'll try the scented card, and the spray. Thanks again.

I threw the card in there - after 5 minutes, I could taste the scent on the back of my throat ! I think I'll take your advice and cut it down to reduce the potency.

Lol, yeah well you wanted that leather smell didn't you?

I actually keep mine in the clear plastic cover they come in and just cut off the top corner of the cover/bag vs cutting up the air freshener to a smaller chunk. Probably would work either way.

i've tried Zaino's and Poorboy's leatherstuff. They're both close but not exactly like the Lexus leather. How close is the Yankee candle product?
