You can also polish it , I know some guys do this and I think it looks pretty good (I think Dx3 is one of them)

ALso, you could wrap it in carbon fiber or get a CF overlay of somesort

Theres alot of options here

PS. I found a pic of the polished door pillar (hope you dont mind Dx3)

You should take it to a body shop that isnt at the LExus dealer.

Waht do you mean polish them. I'd like to do that...as one of mine the paint has randomly come off a spot.

sand it down, start with lower grit sand paper then move to higher grit, when it gets to a point where its smooth polish it with a buffer and metal polish.

Default b pillar fade

I got mine covered with carbon fiber from aaaexoticwood.com
Imitation cf is $50. Real cf is $80.

Which one did you get? Do you have a pic?

Edit: Found a pic in the gallery. But I still would like to know which one you got.

This one is the real cf. I had the fake cf and had no problems with it.

I'm in the process of painting mine. So far they look amazing, but I had a bug crawl in the clear coat as it was drying , so I have to do some more work now. I'll post some pics when I get them finished, this weekend hopfully.

Does that CF piece stick right on top of the door or does it replace something?
