RX330 Dash-- What to use?
What do I use on the 1/2 acre of dashboard in my RX330?
It has a matt finish on it so I don't think a gloss finish is advisable due to the glare factor. I used a damp rag to get the dust and accidentally rubbed too hard and now have a buff area that I need to correct also. Any Ideas out there?
Thanks, Brian

Vinylex
I use Lexol's Vinylex to replenish the look on top of the dashboard, and the top vinyl trim on all 4 of the doors. It's about $8-$9 for the spray version at your local auto parts store (some hardware stores like Ace and True Value carry that too)

I use the Vinylex on my LS400 but this is a semi-gloss and a bit oily feeling. On the full acre dash on the RX330, I used 1Z Cockpit Premium, this is a matte finish. Both are in that $9 range. The1Z IMO smells nicer. Both have UV protectants.

Has anybody tried to use Meguiar's Gold Class Leather cleaner/conditioner on their dashboard? Can it be used? I know it's for conditioning leather but on the back it does not say not to use it on dashboards. Just curious.

Usually a damp microfiber is alll that is needed but about once every 6 month I use Meguiar's #40 Vinyl & Rubber Cleaner/Conditioner.
Leaves a nice matte finish and protects from UVA and UVB. Exactly what you want on a dash so that you don't have a lot of glare.

I've tried Vinylex and thought it was a bit too shiny. I use 303 Aerospace Protectant. Its UV protection is unsurpassed.
