What is the best plastic polish for headlights?
I was wondering what the best plastic polish for headlights is? I was thinking about ordering some Meguiar's PlastX for My RX300 but I was wondering what everyone else is using to clean their clouded headlights.

Vin,
Not sure if you tried to use the search feature, but that topic has been discussed many times before here and you can get some great into with no waiting .
For example I searched for 'headlight polish" in this forum and found these threads among many others:

How long does plastic cleaner last?
So after reading through everyone's posts I decided to try Meguiar's plastX and it worked great!! I used it on my Avalon headlights which were really messed up and on my RX which was starting to fog up. My only question is how long will my headlights stay clear before I have to apply another coat of polish. Any input would be appreciated. Thanks

Does PlastX prevent the headlights from getting hazy to begin with? In other words, if I put it on my nearly brand new GX headlights (which I assume are plastic?), will it act as a preventative for fogging/hazing? Or could it make new headlights look not as good since it's an abrasive?

i see people with hazed headlights all the time and i laugh at them, a coat of CAR WAX every 3 months will prevent this. i put wax on my concordes headlights once a month and they dont look liek that.
once you treat them with meguiars PlastX, treat them with NXT (or any other car wax thats not labeled cleaner wax) to keep them looking new, apply a fresh coat every 5 car washes and you will be fine. it takes 5 extra minutes and can save you tons of cash, new headlights arent cheap. and wetsanding the lens to restore shine is TIME CONSUMING. contours have this problem too, and it took many owners a log time of my preaching before they realized if they just WAXED the headlight lens even 2 times a year, it would prevent this.
