Black is a *****... I own a GS400 and ohhh boy do I go threw a lot of car care products ,, hmm that Ziano sounds nice might go ahead and try it out ....

What I hear is that 'Toyota' doesn't use a clear coat on any solid color such as black, super white, red, etc. Clear coats are on the 'metallic flake' paints and 'pearl' paints. I forgot whose black GS that was, but it was impressive!!! I'm trying to buy the Zaino products, based upon the opinions posted, but their customer service almost seems 'un-Lexus' like. My expectations of Zaino are really high right now...

Wax On Wax Off!
Well, guys I have to jump in on this. I have 2000 GS3, I am certain it does not have a clear coat. I use Zymol wax, you can chose the color and make of caar to get the right one, including feeding product to restore the orig oil. I will send a pic next the proof is in the shine

I have a gs400 black 98 model and the ONLY product that I'm happy with after trying out most waxes is Zaino.
I highly recommend Zaino if you want to get the ultimate waxed effect.
