I use Meguiar's #20 Polymer Sealant with a light mist of #34 Final Inspection on a W-8006 Foam Polishing Pad. It gives a nice even coat and a little bit goes a long way. The #20 is also very sturdy and long lasting, and looks amazing. It looks even better on black, with no oily residue that some complain about with Meguiar's products.

I've been using the Zaino system lately and I am very impressed with it. It actually is not as complex as it appears and is very easy to apply and remove.

Is anyone using Poorboys products?
When I get my black is350 I'm thinking of applying Proorboy's polish + carnauba followed by their EX + carnauba sealant or EX-P pure sealant and then after each wash adding their qucik wax plus since it can be applied in the sun.
Any thoughts on this combination?
Easy on - easy off?
Thanks

I use Poorboys products - it's a nice line. Their polishes are among the best in the business in my opinion. The new EX-P is very nice also. I would do SSR2.5 followed by the new EX-P.

You would use 2.5 on a brand new car? I guess it depends on the prep from the dealer
A wash and clay could be fine if the dealer prep is good. My Lexus dealer prepped my car perfectly.

I emailed Poorboys and got a quick response. I told them I ordered a black IS350. And live where is snows in the winter and where I will have to take it through a touchless car wash from time to time in winter. Told them I want to keep the car looking its best. Here is what they recommended. I'm thinking of giving their products a try. Not sure I'll have to clay it.
Congrats on the new Lexus. I would use these products and steps when you get the new car.
1) wash Super Slick & Suds
2) clay the car to remove any contaminates
3) Polish w/ Carnauba Blue
4) EX x 2 (two coats to ensure total coverage) leave each coat on an hour before removing ...wait 24-36 hours
5)Natty's Blue
6)maintain with Spray and Wipe and/or Spray & Gloss
QW+ would be more like a booster wax that would only be needed if you were not planning on waxing more than 2-3 per year and would help prolong the current wax.
Spray and Wipe would be used to remove light dirt and dust between washings.
Spray & Gloss would be used while drying after a wash (directly into the remaining water) and after a wash to enhance the "pop" of the wax.

For washing I am trying out the NXT wash. I also plan on trying NXT Tech liquid wax, 1Z Glanz Wax and Klasse All-in-One and try to compare results. I will be applying all by hand. Have also thought about the PC 7424 and the kits for use with electric drills from Properautocare.com, but will be going with hand application for now (hoping that silver will be polish & wax intensive than the darker colors). I also purchased a bunch of other cleaning products and microfiber towels. Seems like I am spending more on the car care products than my car payments ! Haha.
First wash yesterday and of course it's storming today. I knew it was going to rain early this week, but I wanted to clean off some of the road grime that it had picked up in the first week and a half or so of ownership. I never really remember ever looking forward to washing my car until this past weekend. When I got up Sunday, it was pouring outside. I had even debated washing in the rain. But it cleared up for a couple of hours so I got a chance to wash and dry before the next round of rain came.
