Protective film and white lines
I waxed my black GS last weekend with Mequiar's liquid wax and cleaner and now I have white lines on the edges of the protective film that the dealer put on.
What is the best way to get rid of the wax build up and how do I avoid it in the future?

At least you have a white line. A few months back I had my car detailed and a day later saw a green wax buildup along the edge of the protective film on my car. In was so bad in some areas that the wax got under the film and could not be removed. I had to take my car back to the installer and he had to cut a thin piece of film off the car which had wax under it..
Wish you luck man....

This is from this 'sticky' thread Clear Bra Tips & FAQs under FAQ.
When my car gets dirty, the line on the hood is more visible. What can I do about it? Wash the vehicle and use a wet q-tip and run it along the edge and this will clean up the dirt or wax build-up.
Hope this helps.
