How long does it take you to detail your car when you do it yourself

anyone know how to wash these things or just go buy new ones?

The thread title is different than this ? If I am waxing the car I only do the exterior and it usually takes about 2 hours, maybe 3 if I do two coats and the engine bay. If I am just using detail spray then I do the interior at the same time and it is about 2 hours also. I dont get really crazy though, just detail spray, wash windows, clean wheels, tires and exhaust, vacuum interior, leather cleaner and conditioner, and armorall type stuff for doors and dash, but I use the meguiars brand.

I don't use applicator pad because I think it's abrasive. I use old cotton socks with holes on them.
