any easier way to sand paint?
Wow.. I never thought sanding off paint would be this hard..
I just scrubbed paint off of my trunk lid and it took me about 5 hours!!
My arms are about to fall off. There's gotta be a easier way to do this. Anyone have any advise?

If you're sanding to repaint then I'd recommend using a chemical stripper instead. Kleen-Strip Aircraft paint stripper is very effective and fairly easy to find.
Make sure you remove the panel from the car (if you haven't already) and wear some good chemical gloves. It's messy yes, but it's the fastest way to flat bare metal really. Just degrease well, (lacquer thinner is good here) epoxy prime and paint.
Hope this helps.

Yes, It'll remove primer too, but you will find it nearly impossible to sand and leave the primer perfectly intact anyway. It would be seriously labor intensive and really tricky to at least.
Not positive AutoZone sells it (they just might- I've found other Kleen-Strip products there but wasn't looking for the stripper at the time) ) but almost any auto paint supplier will. Stripper product number is AR-343
