Yankee Candle Air Freshener Damaged the center console

Default Yankee Candle Air Freshener Damaged the center console
I had the air freshener hanging from the cupholder. I noticed it bubbled up the console's finish. Is there anything I can do to fix this or prevent it from getting worse?

damn! That must be some potent stuff if itll peel away your dash like that. I just usually hang mine from the rearview. I cant think of anything that would help that... maybe a really clear piece of scotch tape to prevent it from speading...

It's my fault too. It was in its plastic wrapper last week. I took it out of it to get the full effect.
