Probably not. the paint is really smooth, though. almost similar to a piano's.
the only thing that will stripe the clear coat is if you use some kind of harsher and abrasive rubbing compound or even a softer polishing compound.
Again, I'm not a paint expert, therefore, I'm only guessing (but not guarantee) that any form of polymer sealant/wax will strip may or may not cause the clear coat to strip gradually over or period of time w/ multiple coatings.
So far, after multiple coats of Zaino, the silver did seem to take on another silver color from what I originally bought it back in '03.
One thing that made a huge difference was the crystals were more defined in the main silver paint. when the sun hits the paint, the crystals seems to glitter.
An expert from this forum may have a better answer to your question.
