DRL scratches?

What rubbing compound and glaze did you use, and did you use it by hand or buffer? Did you use a block to sand the lights? Also did you go back and forth or in circles? I am thinking about doing this to make my headlights extra clean but dont want to mess it up

Both Mother's & Meguiar's are "old school" products that are unsuitable for modern applications. None of their products rated well by Consumer Reports. They rely on heavy advertising and big-box store presence to push the products.
3M actually has a great automotive product line. However, its complete product line is hard to find and they don't advertise their auto stuff much. You'll still find some 3M stuff here & there. I recently found a mom-n-pop shop located in some industrial area that actually carries the entire 3M line. It was like a gold mine for me.
