Default Rain X Autodry system

Anybody tried RainX Autodry System? I just did this afternoon.

Left spots all over my windows (maybe cuz i didnt get all the dirt off), but none on the paint.

I've heard of Mr. Clean leaving a thin film on the car. I didnt see it with the RainX system.

Also, RainX uses polymer technology like zaino. I was thinking, this fast wash would benefit zaino users who just wants a quick wash?

Overall I was pleased with it. Just dont know what happen with the windows.
Paid $6 for it at Target.

"The Polymer Wash removes dirt
Self-Dry™ Rinse breaks up spot-causing minerals
Helps prevents spotting
Works in four simple steps
Provides up to 10 washes when used as directed "

I brought this a couple of months ago thinking i could be lazy. I hooked it up to the water hose, started rinsing the car, turned the nozzle to 2 and more water comes out. I'm thinking , where's the soap. So i end up getting a defective one. I have already trashed the receipt and am too lazy to ride back to walmart to switch out. So i ended up having to do a hand wash. Damn i'm lazy these days, lol.

Glad it worked for you though. I think i'm going to buy the Mr. Clean one next time i go to walmart and pray i get a working one.

one thing that those things arent good for is if the car is under lot of direct sun. I used the Mr. Clean around 4pm last time I washed my car. Like it normally happens around that time, the water and the soap had evaporated by the time i got around to washing it. Ill stick with my hand wash!

Yea for some reason the Mr. Clean soap does not suds up that well if it does it doesn't stay sudsy for long. Nothing like a "good ol" hand wash. Going to detail mine today. She's looking pretty dull, so it's time for a polish. The weather is perfect here today.

I used the Mr. Clean one and I hated it. It was cute to watch the water beads, but there was spots everywhere and the soap was garbage. I threw it out and continue to pamper my baby by hand.

we used an auto-dry (the original one) for a company car wash. I could pee stronger than that thing. Absolute waste of money.

I think they recently redesigned it to be stronger.

I bought it and returned it because it didnt work well. I'd rather stick to washing my car the normal way. If you wipe to dry, at least the dust gets pulled off rather than the dust drying on the car.
