Black car with fine scratches and swirl marks
I bought a 2004 Black GS300 and it has fine scratches and swirl marks, so I was thing of sending it to a body shop to have them polished out. what do you thing a fair price to have the whole car polished in the Boston area? I have gotten one estimate of between $250-300.

A better alternative would be to get a bottle of Meguiar's Scratch-X (costs around $6 at your local Wal-mart, Target, etc.) It does wonders in getting rid of those micro swirls and fine scratches. Plus, it's not necessary at all to bring the GS you just purchased to a body shop just because of a few fine scratches

Well I got it done this week and they only charged $200. The body shop did the polishing, then he sent it out for a complete detail inside and out. The best $200 I have spent so far on this car.

I have found Eagle One Nano Wax to be a quick alternative to getting those small scratches and swirl marks out as well. I use that pretty often as well. I dont hear that much about it though. Works good for me though.
