Default Wheel wax?

Aside from WheelWax, what would you recommend to apply to a set of Volks with the polished lips (for protection and shine). Would almost any "decent" paste wax do?

Thx.

I have read that the problem with wax is that the heat on the wheels causes the wax to break down and fail. I havent used wax so I cant say. I just polish the wheels and then use a sealant, like the Poorboys World Wheel sealant. Its a really great product

I get it online at detailedimage.com. I think it is like $15 or so, but you can get many applications from it

I'm having good luck with the Michelin brand brake dust repellent on my factory chrome wheels. Available at Auto Zone Stores. They provide a three step cleaning, tire protection and the repellent. It's worth the $20 for all three.
